Have You Been Diagnosed With Leaky Gut Syndrome?
Posted by: | CommentsLeaky gut syndrome is an odd disease. Many normal people have an idea of what it is, just from the name, but many medical professionals don’t think its real. There is only one cause of this disease, and conventional medicine doesn’t cure it. However, you can get rid of it with a holistic approach. Once you are cured, there are ways to prevent it from happening again.
Do you know that your digestive tract is like a long tube starting from your mouth down to your colon? In understanding the cause of leaky gut syndrome, it’s important to first understand a little about your anatomy. The mouth, throat, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines… all these body parts perform their own job to complete the digestion process.
So what is affected if you have been diagnosed with leaky gut syndrome? The answer is, your colon. A coat on the walls of your colon, called mucoid plaque, builds up and start to develop small leaks in its membrane. This coating is made of undigested food that has failed to leave your body.
There are no known conventional medicines that will cure leaky gut syndrome. Don’t lose hope. You can do something about it. Because it is caused by a plaque buildup, you can do a colon cleanse to help remove the buildup. You don’t want to use laxatives to stimulate your colon because that doesn’t remove the plaque, it just removes today’s digested food.
Now, in choosing a colon cleansing product, it’s important to assure that it doesn’t contain any harsh chemical. Being patient is important as well, because it might take several cleansing to totally remove the coating on the walls of your colon. However, it is not advised to cleanse your body frequently, even when using herbal products. Colon cleansing once a month or every other month is ideal.
Colon cleanses aren’t the way to prevent leaky gut syndrome. To prevent it from recurring, you will need to completely change your lifestyle. You will have to start eating healthy foods, mainly raw fruits and vegetables, and avoid processed foods. Along with the raw foods, you will want to drink more water. The raw foods and water will make it easier for you to have a bowel movement, meaning plaque is less likely to form again.
Another change to make is exercise. Many people today don’t get much exercise. Everyone needs to move daily to help keep their colon healthy and disease free.
Leaky Gut Syndrome is an odd condition of the human body. Today, a majority of adult Americans have been diagnosed with the disease. To maintain a healthy colon, know how to prevent Leaky Gut Syndrome. Straight and simple.
